2025 Provincial Flood Forecasting and Warning Workshop

The Provincial Flood Forecasting and Warning Workshop aims to strengthen connections among agencies involved in flood forecasting and warning, emergency management, flow measurement, and data collection—along with other partners—to address policy and implementation needs and to provide training opportunities.

The workshop is organized and hosted by the Provincial Flood Forecasting and Warning Committee and  Conservation Ontario.


The theme of the 2025 Provincial Flood Forecasting and Warning Workshop is From Data to Decisions: Flood Forecasting and Warning Strategies, Tools, and Collaboration for the Current Climate.

Attendees can look forward to insightful presentations highlighting innovative approaches and lessons learned in flood forecasting and warning amid extreme and varied weather events. Sessions will feature new technologies, agency collaborations, and reflections on recent storm events.

Location: Burlington Holiday Inn and Conference Centre
Registration: Covers attendance on both days and meals. Registration will open soon.

Who can register?
Registration is open to conservation authorities, municipal, or governmental agency staff directly involved in flood forecasting, warning, or emergency management. The workshop is closed to members of the public or private consultants, unless through direct invitation.
