Conservation Ontario

Conservation Ontario is made up of a network of 36 Conservation Authorities, community-based watershed management agencies dedicated to conserving, restoring and managing Ontario’s natural resources on a watershed basis.


The office of Conservation Ontario is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. It is represented by a Council and an elected Board of Directors. The office of Conservation Ontario supports the network of Conservation Authorities and is responsible for:

  • Government Relations
  • Policy and Program Development
  • Building and Maintaining Partnerships
  • Corporate Communications
  • Research and Information
  • Evaluation and Reporting
  • Education and Training
